Hand-Poured Candles in Vintage Vessels

Service Description

A quiet autumn evening designed exclusively for adult makers! At our candle workshop, you'll choose your vessel, scent, and wick type (wood or cotton), creating a beautiful, hand-poured piece to take home. Because candles must rest after they're poured, you'll have to return later in the week for pick-up - but we're confident you'll love the relaxed pace and creativity that this workshop inspires in you! A couple of notes: + You will get to choose a vessel (some examples are shown!) but we will not pour directly into those. It will be safer to pour into fire-safe tins that fit inside your chosen vessel! You can choose your tin size based on the vessel you choose so it fits perfectly inside! We still always encourage you to place your candle on a stovetop or other fire-safe surface when it is burning to prevent damage or injury. + This workshop is basic and introductory in nature; candle-making is an art and there are so many wonderful ways to learn more through classes or self-education if you would choose after this. I will be teaching only out of my own personal experience and I am not a professional! + In spite of the date, this workshop is not Halloween themed! Our focus will be on fall/winter and light! There are so many things to celebrate during this time, including the end of harvest and the coming cozy season! Due to the nature of this workshop, all participants must be ages 13+! Thursday, October 29, 2026 7-9 p.m. at Sparrowdale
